Express your interest to be a young media volunteer

To be a young media volunteer, you’ll need to be aged 13-17, live in England or Wales, have lived experience of a mental health problem and be willing to talk about this with the media.

You’ll also need to have your parent or legal guardian’s permission and be part of Mind’s Youth Voice Network. If you’re not a member yet, you can sign up here.

If you meet the requirements, please fill in the form below. The information you provide will help us to check if we can sign you up as a young media volunteer. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll email you and your parent/legal guardian within 5 working days to talk you through the next steps.

If you have any questions, you can contact the Youth Voice Network by emailing [email protected]

Responsible Adult Consent

So we can work together as safely as possible, we need permission from your parent or legal guardian for you to become a young media volunteer. Please talk to them first – they can read about the role on our page for parents and caregivers. Let us know their details in the boxes below so we can contact them and confirm they’re happy for you to sign up.
