Mind in Bradford – community outreach, recovery and engagement worker

Are you dedicated to creating a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges? The aim of this service is to support people in the community who are experiencing serious mental illness. We help people who cannot currently access statutory services or are transitioning between statutory and community support.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, representing the organisation and facilitating effective communication channels
  • Participate in supervision, training, team meetings and company days and complete training related to the role
  • Be familiar with and consistently work within and comply with all Mind in Bradford policies and procedures

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with adults in a health, social care or any other relevant setting
  • Good knowledge of services across the Bradford District
  • Passion to help improve people’s lives
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence supporting people in a clear, meaningful and non-judgemental way
  • A commitment to excellence
  • Good organisational and IT skills
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in solutions
  • Passion for multi-agency working
  • Willingness to travel (full UK driving licence and access to a car)
