About the role

Derbyshire Mind has a long history of providing high quality, confidential, independent advocacy services. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, hard-working individuals to join us to support clients to express their views, wishes and feelings and assist them in safeguarding their rights.

The successful candidate will develop and co-ordinate a sustainable volunteer programme to support the delivery of our Community Advocacy Service. This will include working closely with local communities and partner organisations to develop and promote a high quality volunteering opportunity and provide ongoing support, training and supervision to volunteer advocates.Staff benefits include pension and 25 days holiday + bank holidays
