Mind expresses condolences to friends and family of Christian Smith

Mind is devastated to learn of the tragic loss of Christian Smith, who died whilst doing a cycling fundraising event.

We at Mind were devastated to learn of the tragic loss of Christian Smith, who died in a car collision in the early hours of Saturday, 22 March. Mr Smith, from Kent, died during a 24 hour, 248 mile solo cycling trip around Kent and Sussex to raise awareness of mental health problems, as well as vital funds for Mind.

Paul Farmer, Chief Executive of Mind, said:

"We were shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of Christian Smith. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
