About Cardiff Half Marathon 2017

On Sunday 1st October 2017 Wales’ largest road race and Wales’ largest multi-charity fundraising event is to return. Attracting more than 22,000 runners and 50,000 spectators to the city. The event is known for its fantastic atmosphere and tremendous support of the residents and businesses of Cardiff.

From the elite field – which attracts some of the world’s top runners – to the club athletes and charity fun runners, the race has something for everyone. The route takes runners past the capital’s most iconic landmarks with beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The predominately flat and fast course makes it ideal for beginners and elites.

What a great day! The race, crowds and Mind made my first race so special
