Wandsworth & Westminster Mind has been delivering services and support for people living in Wandsworth, Westminster and in some neighbouring boroughs for over 40 years. Our aim is to help people in our local communities to have better mental health and wellbeing and to live the best lives possible.
We are looking for a part time Social Inclusion Project Worker. Your role will be to work with service users with severe mental health problems and to provide them with flexible and responsive support based on their individual needs and aspirations. As part of the Art Programme group, you will facilitate group working and report on outcomes and achievements regularly. You will also be involved in the recruitment and supervision of volunteers.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be qualified to degree level, have experience of working within a mental health setting and experience in providing support to clients. You will have excellent communication skills, and experience of liaising with Care Coordinators as well as a good knowledge and understanding of personal budgets and community mental health teams
