About the role

Mind in Camden provides a range of services:  Phoenix, a Wellbeing & Recovery service; REST, a tranquilliser addiction service; Hearing Voices projects for: young people, voice hearers in prison and refugee and asylum seekers; a social prescribing service project and now a Healthy Minds Community Project.

You will co-ordinate a new project to support people experiencing mental distress to access sports and fitness facilities in Camden. You will work with providers to train/support them to improve access to people with mental health issues and will manage a team of volunteer sports navigators.

You need a good understanding of sports, person-centred mental health work and the benefits of physical activity on wellbeing.  Ability to motivate and lead others, and lead the project.
