We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We work in partnership with over 140 local Minds across England and Wales, delivering high quality services to anyone who needs them. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

A key goal in our strategy is to gain equality of treatment for people who experience both mental health and other forms of discrimination. This includes increasing the profile of our work with people with multiple and complex needs nationally and locally. Mind works with Clinks and Homeless Link through the Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) coalition. Reporting to the Head of Equality Improvement and based in the Networks and Communities Directorate at Mind, we are now looking for a mental health specialist to join the MEAM Local Networks Team.  Working as part of this team you will provide practical, hands-on support to local areas, helping them to design and deliver better coordinated services for people with multiple needs. You will also work to significantly raise the profile of this work and the needs of people with multiple needs nationally in Mind and across the local Mind network.

Closing date for this position is 5pm on 21 April 2017

Interviews will take place on 10 May 2017

Mind is an equal opportunities employer
