About the run

New for 2017! Be one of the first to take part in the Great Manchester Half Marathon and take in even more of the famous sites of Manchester.

If you're looking to take the next step up from the popular 10k or you fancy the challenge of a longer distance, then this is the event for you.

I love running for a cause that means so much to me.

Our support

Whether you manage to secure your own place or a Mind guaranteed place, we pride ourselves on giving our team the support and admiration they deserve.

We offer all our runners a fantastic support package including:

  • Plenty of training and fundraising advice to help you achieve your goals
  • A running vest with your name overprinted
  • A fantastic post race reception with refreshments and support on the day
  • A dedicated and experienced project manager to help you every step of the way!

Join our team!

1. Charity places: Choose this if you need a place in the event and would like to join Mind's team. As part of your registration, you’ll pay Mind an initial registration fee and agree to raise a minimum level of funds for Mind’s work

2Official place: Choose this if you already have a place confirmed. You may have got it through a ballot, a club or you may have bought it direct from the event organisers. As you already have a place, you can join Mind’s team for free, and raise what you can with no specific fundraising commitment.
